Built around the idea that AI should serve people, not replace them
nagacortexes was founded in Bangkok by a team with backgrounds in enterprise technology, data science, and organizational change management.
Back to HomeHow nagacortexes came to be
The founding team at nagacortexes had spent years working with large Thai enterprises and regional multinationals on technology transformation projects. A pattern kept emerging: organizations were making substantial investments in AI tools without the data foundations, governance structures, or internal understanding to use them well.
In early 2022, we decided to focus exclusively on the earlier, less glamorous part of AI adoption — the architecture, the policies, and the organizational readiness work that determines whether an AI investment actually creates value. We named the company after the naga, a figure in Thai culture associated with wisdom and transformation, and cortex, the part of the brain associated with higher reasoning.
Our office is in Huai Khwang, central Bangkok. We work primarily with Thai businesses, regional headquarters of multinational firms, and government-linked enterprises navigating Thailand's PDPA requirements.
A clearer path to AI that actually works
We believe that good AI adoption is methodical, well-documented, and respectful of the people who will live with the systems we help design. Our mission is to give organizations the analytical clarity and governance structures they need to move forward with confidence — without shortcuts that create risk down the line.

What guides how we work
Every engagement at nagacortexes is shaped by principles we hold consistently, regardless of project size or sector.
PDPA Alignment
All our work is conducted with awareness of Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. Data handling in our engagements follows current regulatory guidance.
Evidence-Based Recommendations
We document our findings and ground every recommendation in observed data, existing literature, or structured analysis — not assumption.
Stakeholder Inclusion
Governance and strategy work involves the people who will actually use or be affected by AI systems — not just the technology decision-makers.
Documented Deliverables
Every engagement ends with written outputs your team can read, reference, and act on — not presentations that become inaccessible after the engagement ends.
Vendor Neutrality
We do not have referral relationships or commercial arrangements with technology vendors. Our recommendations reflect what is appropriate for your situation.
Confidentiality Practices
Client data, findings, and organizational details shared during engagements are handled with strict confidentiality and never referenced in external materials without consent.
AI consulting shaped by Thailand's business environment
The context in which Thai businesses operate shapes how AI adoption needs to be approached. Data residency preferences, regulatory obligations under PDPA, and the diverse mix of legacy infrastructure across Bangkok's enterprise sector all affect how AI tools can realistically be deployed. nagacortexes develops consulting frameworks that account for this local context — not frameworks borrowed wholesale from markets with different regulatory environments or infrastructure realities.
Our consultants have worked within Thai organizations at the operational level, not just as external advisors looking in. This shapes how we communicate findings, structure workshops, and calibrate the ambition of our recommendations to what is achievable within real organizational constraints.
For organizations exploring how AI can support customer experience, operations, or decision-making, the starting point is rarely technology selection. It is understanding what data you have, how well-governed it is, and what processes would need to change to make an AI system useful. That is the work we do.
